Josh has been waiting for the new Star Trek for a long time, and our wait finally ended on Saturday. The movie was AMAZING. I'm not even a Trekkie, but I still loved it! Even though I didn't understand some of the jokes, there was still enough excitement to keep me completely drawn into the movie. And let's not forget the eye candy... Spock, prrrrowwwww (with an extra rolled 'r')...
I highly recommend this movie to EVERYONE. Unless you're 1000% not into any form of science fiction... in which case you should probably see it anyway just for Spock, prrrrrowwww...
Ooo la la! We saw it Saturday too, and loved it! And, like you, I'm not a Trekkie at all. I did make the mistake of leaving to get a drink during the movie, and got interrogated by at least 3 Trekkies outside the theater. Sheesh! Oh, and apparently there's a Trekkie group that meets the 3rd Sat. of every month for an activity--overheard that in the bathroom!
